Movies In The Park

Hancock Market
HPR Inc is partnering with the Hancock Citizens Committee to host our fantastic Hancock Market on September 20th. Come see our selection of home baked goodies and enjoy a hot dog and brat fry for lunch. This is our last market of the year! Follow the signs to Main Street in Hancock.
Souper Bowl Party
Join us from 4-6pm on Sunday, February 8, 2026 for our 2nd Annual Soup Contest followed the Super Bowl Game on our inflatable Big Screen at the Hancock Community Center. Anyone can be a judge. Fill up on all-you-can-eat soup and vote for your favorite. Who will win the Golden Spoon Award this year?
Current Initiatives
Beach
We obtain a range of specialized services tailored to meet your recreational needs, including basic park maintenance and cleanup.
Improvements
In 2024, our volunteers built a kitchen and concessions area for serving food inside our pavilion, and electricity was installed. Future improvements include bringing plumbing to pavilion and bathrooms.
Community
Celebrate our park the first Saturday of June each year with a festival to foster a deeper connection with our community and appreciation for our environment.
Environment
We offer comprehensive ecosystem restoration, including wetland and wildlife habitat preservation. Funding from grants and donors will help to make this possible.
About us
Our love for our hometown and the beauty of our natural resources have driven us to not only improve and revitalize our park and beach systems but also to maintain those resources so that they can endure for generations to come. The lakes provide fish for food, recreation for seasonal visitors, and a beach for families to cool off on hot days in the summer.
